Mission |
Nā Hawaiʻi ʻImi Loa was founded in 2013 by graduate students in the University of Hawaiʻi at Mānoa's library and information science program. Nā Hawaiʻi ʻImi Loa became a professional organization in 2016 and Nā Hawaiʻi ʻImi Loa Hui Haumāna serves as its student chapter.

To service the Hawaiian community, by strengthening the Native Hawaiian presence in the Library and Information Sciences profession, and by building the capacity of the Hawaiian community in Library and Information Sciences practices.
